Charlotte’s hospitality experience spans 15 years and three states, having managed beverage programs at celebrated Relais & Chateau property, Ocean House in Rhode Island as well as in hotels and restaurants in Connecticut and New York. While in New York, she has managed the wine program at one of Joe Bastianich’s restaurants, where she took a deep dive into Italian wines, and then moved to oversee the beverage program at Momofuku Ssäm Bar, where she explored classic and new generation producers with a niche focus on Riesling and Gamay.
After evaluating the challenges of restaurant life, Charlotte pivoted into a different branch of the industry as an account executive for Colangelo & Partners, a wine-focused PR firm continuing onto the importing side with Skurnik Wine and Spirits. Pouring wine and engaging with guests is a true passion of Charlotte’s however, and something she will continue to make a focus in her life as often as possible, so she continues to do just that with Resident Experiential Dining, NYC.
Charlotte regularly collaborates with other sommeliers throughout the country to continue education and to educate and inspire others. She is studying for the Advanced Level Certification through the CMS and is scheduled to complete the exam this spring.
