Jean-Paul Bignon is an accomplished man who wears many hats. In the vineyards, he and his wife, Nancy own and manage Château Talbot, Grand Cru Classé of Saint Julien. In addition to Château Talbot, they manage Château Sénéjac, a Haut-Médoc estate and the Saint-Andrieu domain, in Côtes-de-Provence.” Château Talbot is famous for its robust fruit, great age ability and value. The wines are very fine with a superb balance of ripeness and elegance.

 

In the political regime, Jean-Paul is an officer in the French National Order of “Mérite” who practices international law. He is a member of the Paris and New-York bars and is a member of the Bignon-Lebray law firm in Paris.

 

In the country, he is an enthusiastic farmer, and has taken over the family estate in Picardie, in the village of Bermesnil, where he is the mayor.
