Sean’s culinary story began after the completion of his culinary training @ Algonquin College in his home country of Canada. The decade that followed consisted of cooking on the island of Maui, the Four Season’s Hotel in Whistler, followed by a stint in New Orleans, then on to Vail’s Nobu. However, it was a mesmerizing sushi dining experience that lead him to a two- year sushi apprenticeship in Jackson Hole’s Mizu Sushi. The yearning for a deeper understanding of Japanese cuisine brought him all the way to Tokyo, Japan.
After graduating from The Tokyo Sushi Academy, Sean successfully launched his Nantucket based business Sushi Sean 11:11. Sean is devoted to providing professional private sushi services to all Nantucket homes and events he caters.
